Astley – Lagen Band

Joel Astley and Marc Lagen have put together a new band which blends sparkling original songs with all the other music they love, from blues and country to soul and jazz. Lagen has been a musician for over 50 years and plays guitar, pedal steel, dobro, and bass, and is also a singer / songwritier. He got his start here in the northwest backing artists such as Merilee Rush, and went on to tour nationwide sharing stages with the likes of Norman Greenbaum, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, the Zombies, the Box Tops and more. Joel Astley is an up-and-coming artist who in a few short years has risen to local favorite, collecting multiple awards from the Washington Blues Society.
