Anacortes Music Project presents Bizzozo Shaft

Every once in a while, something incredibly magical happens. It was like a whirlwind blew into town, a creative ether somehow manifesting itself as some sort of philosophy or idea about rhythms, and poetry, and jamming, and having fun. Well, the concept caught on and spread like wild fire. A group was formed – Bizzozo Shaft.

The band features: Aaron Howell, guitar; John Seibold, harmonica, vocals; Nick Myer, drums; Jacob Navarro, guitar; Doug Cassidy, bass, vocals; Phil Nakano, sax, congas, flute. Half originals, half covers. Rhythmic rhythm-n-bluesy rock-n-roll with a funky bent.

AMP produces musical events, to enrich the Anacortes community and support our local musicians.  They conduct music classes/workshops/seminars for developing skills and broadening horizons of the musically curious and grant scholarships for musical education to budding local musicians.
