Delta Promenade

Delta Promenade are an acoustic blues trio featuring guitar (National Steel, acoustic and 12 string), vocals, fiddle and string bass who play country blues (Piedmont, Ragtime and Delta styles) from the 1920’s to the 1940’s from the likes of Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Leadbelly and Blind Blake. They play regularly at Greene’s Corner in Bellingham, as well as Boundary Bay Brewery, Kulshan, The Corner Pub, The Rockfish Grill, Farmstrong and Stones Throw. Guitarist and singer Steven Dolmatz brings a lifetime study of the blues, introducing each song with a brief history of the artist who wrote it. Fiddler Steven Harper plays blues and ragtime with the verve and swing of a player steeped in Hot Club style fiddling. String bassist Jim Matthews spend years playing with Kathy McDonald and Knut Bell.
