Jazz Walk with The Don Bird Experiment (DBX)

Manieri Jazz presents the 4th annual Jazz Walk in downtown Anacortes. Enjoy a wide variety of different artists at multiple venues including the Rockfish Grill. We will host the The Don Bird Experiment (DBX) that night.

DBX is an all-star group of jazz and blues musicians that offer a unique listening experience. Their original music and unique arrangements explore the realms of electric jazz fusion with influences of blues, progressive rock, R & B and funk. DBX features composer/arranger Don Bird on keyboards, vocals and electronic effects. The very talented Jake Yansen from A-Town Big Band, Mid Life Crisis and many other popular local groups covers tenor and soprano sax. Joining them on drums is Andrew Cloutier, a veteran musician who’s many credits include his work with Lee Oskar, Eric’s Maine Connection and Left-Hand Smoke. They invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy a unique musical journey.
