Anacortes Brewery

The Anacortes Brewery was established in 1994 and is the 9th oldest continuously operating brewery in the state of Washington. They brew over thirty styles annually, and after all these years in the business, they take pride in still being an innovator.  Their brewers focus on high quality ingredients, a carefully controlled process and delicate handling to provide one of the best beers you will find in the industry.

The Anacortes Brewery operates a seven barrel brewery designed and installed by Sound Brewing Systems of Seattle with vessels fabricated by Ripley Stainless in British Columbia.

Besides many unique specialty ales, the brewery features a cold room designed specifically for lagering, a process that provides beers with a traditional character and complexity.

Beer Descriptions

Annie’s Amber (ABV 5.5% / IBU 40)  Proudly named for the namesake of Anacortes, Annie Curtis, this elegant northwest-style Amber Ale is medium bodied with a slight piney character and a subtle malty twang. Columbus & Cascade hops provide a crisp balance.

Erie Oatmeal Stout (ABV 6.5% / IBU 18)  Named for the highest point on Fidalgo Island, Mount Erie, this beer is big and roasty on the front end with an inviting chocolate aroma. It’s full flavored with a silky medium-body and a bittersweet coffee note. Columbus, Perle & Cascade provide a delicate balance for a smooth and dry finish.(On Nitro)

Original IPA (ABV 6.7% / IBU 80)  Our classic northwest style IPA has a good hop character supported with a sturdy backbone. Columbus, Cascade & Simcoe are dry-hopped in the fermenter producing moderate citrus and stone fruit aroma yielding to bold, prolonged hop flavor and bitterness.

March Point Porter (ABV 5% / IBU 35)  A rich, dark ale named for the northeastern peninsula of our island, this beer features complex flavor from 4 malts and Perle & Cascade hops. Chocolate malt dominates taste and color in this otherwise balanced brew.

Halloweizen (ABV 5.7% / IBU 20) Our 2024 Pumpkin Ale is brewed with cinnamon and allspice with the addition of local Skagit valley grown pumpkins roasted in a wood fired oven. This is topped off with sneaky banana and clove aromas from our traditional Bavarian hefeweizen yeast.

Vienna Lager (ABV 5.4% / IBU 15)   Smooth and malty, this elegant amber lager is delicately hopped with Perle & Hallertau varieties for aroma and balance.

Oktoberfest (ABV 5.3% / IBU 30) Malty and full bodied, this savory beer celebrates the traditional Bavarian festival. Delicately hopped and lagered for 8 weeks in our authentic cold storage cellar.

Hazy On You ( ABV 6.5% / IBU 30 ) Our Hazy is made with premium two row malt, white wheat and Vienna along with hop additions of Ekunaut and centennial. This beer is low in bitterness, but with a juicy flavor and mouthfeel. Let the hops shine, and let us go hazy, hazy on you!

Fresh Hop IPA (7.3% / IBU 90) Is made with 2 row and Munich malt! This dark golden IPA is hopped with mosaic extract, 150 pounds of Fresh Simco hops, collected from Carpenter Ranches in Granger WA, and Dry hopped with even more Simco! Enjoy this Fresh hop IPA!

Deception Pass Pale Ale (ABV 5.4% / IBU 45) A refreshing ale made with 2 row and Munich malts, Mosaic hop in the boil and dry hopped with Simcoe. New recipe for a popular favorite!

Cream Bee (ABV 5.0% / IBU 21) Brewed with 40 lbs of local honey and all pilsner malt to give this light ale a straw color, while Crystal provide just the right amount of balance for a crisp, refreshing finish. Enjoy this easy-drinker on a sunny, summer day!

Beer from the Woods Series: Broadsword Scottish Ale (OG 1.083 / ABV 8.7% / IBU 35)   Black Patent, Caramel, Chocolate, Munich & Peat smoked malts produce dark color, malty flavor and subtle smokiness in this robust Scottish Ale. Perle, Cascade & Mt Hood provide a balanced bitterness.

Regal Lager (ABV 8.6% / IBU 18) Imperial Pilsner! Featuring Great Western Pilsner malt and Czech Saaz’s Golden in color this Smash beer is malty sweet with a bold finish. Brewed in collaboration with North Sound Brewery.

Belgian Collaboration Series: 

Sergeant Peppercorn’s Lonely Hearts Club Ale (ABV 5% / IBU 25) – Our 30th anniversary beer is a refreshing Belgian farmhouse-style Saison with unique spiciness from 4 varieties of fresh ground peppercorn plus grains of paradise. Saaz hops provide balance throughout. Guaranteed to raise a smile!

Menace Brewing: Belgian Dubbel: (6.9%ABV) – Dark brown color showcasing a chocolate malt profile with low bitterness. Paired with a caramelized fruit and spice notes this is a fine showing of Trappist Strong beer styles.

1/4 bbl IPA and high strength beers (>8%) = $139 + tax

Keg deposit = $100 credit card
Tap deposit = $50 credit card
