Lauren Flynn
Lauren began her music career as a vocalist and songwriter, quickly picking up rhythm guitar to perform solo. She has released four EPs and four singles, including a cover of Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place” produced with five-time Grammy-winning engineer Alfonso Rodenas (Los Tigres Del Norte). Her song “Beyond This Moon” was featured in the 2019 web series Coffee House Chronicles.
In 2020, Lauren founded Seattle rock band Buried Blonde, writing, arranging, and co-producing the band’s debut EP, What Now. She also took advantage of lockdown to learn to record and began producing her own music. Her songwriting reflects a wide emotional range – from recklessness to resilience – shaped in part by her journey of losing three homes to natural disasters over six years.
A former professional wrestler, Lauren also studied stand-up comedy in Los Angeles under Greg Dean and Dat Phan, skills that inform her engaging and intimate stage presence. Her live solo performances weave together original songs, creative covers and layered vocals.
